On April 30, the Polaris community came together at Greenhouse Loft for our Celebration of Learning benefit—an evening filled with joy, generosity, and shared purpose. We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us in support of Polaris and our students and teachers.

Because of our incredible community of donors, supporters, and sponsors, we raised nearly $80,000 to advance our mission and to educate students to be effective learners and ethical people who contribute to a better world. Proud Polaris teacher and parent Sarena Griffin shared a powerful reflection on her 10-year Polaris journey and the enduring impact of Crew. Speaking from both personal and professional experience, she reminded us that Crew is more than a value—it is the culture that connects, strengthens, and sustains our community. As Sarena shared, “Polaris is Crew. Crew is the culture that holds all of us. It’s what makes Polaris feel like home. It’s what makes Polaris feel like a family and makes students feel like they belong to a family that won’t give up on them. It’s what makes Polaris different.” Sarena’s words captured the heart of the evening and the spirit of Polaris.
