5th and 6th Graders’ Trip to Monticello
Funded by donors like you and small fundraisers at the school like Student Jean Days, 80 Polaris students and 15 adult chaperons are traveling by bus to Virginia and Washington D.C.! They will travel over 700 miles to Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello Plantation, to tour the National Mall and Lincoln Memorial in D.C., and to partner with the Library of Congress to create a documentary for future learners from primary sources they’ve studied.
Because of your support, students have a seat on this bus headed east.
Thank you for providing the opportunity for students to see the world they’ve only read about up until today. We would like to share their adventure with you through stories, remarks, photos and reflections.
