Polaris Charter Academy is funded through a per student allotment from Chicago Public Schools, as well as national and state funding. Funding for charter schools was decreased by 4% in 2009-2010 and remained flat in 2010-2011. Therefore, we rely on support from generous individuals, corporations, and foundations.
