So what are GMOs and how do I know when I’m eating them?  Our seventh graders have been studying Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) and after researching their benefits and disadvantages, will have a roundtable debate about whether Genetically Modified Foods should be labeled for consumers.  Students will write briefs and create arguments for both sides of the debate to provide a well-rounded approach to finding the answer.  The Museum of Science and Industry will be helping our students create their arguments by hosting fieldwork trips for learning.
